2009 Poplar tree … until 2014

(EN) Currently, there is one gmo field in Belgium: a group of gmo poplars in Ghent. They are growing at the backside of the VIB, Flemish Institute for Biotechnology in Zwijnaarde, near Ghent (click to enlarge the picture)
(FR) Pour le moment, il n’y a qu’un seul champ d’OGM en Belgique: des peupliers génétiquement modifiés à Gand. Vous pouvez les voir croître à l’arrière des bâtiments du VIB, l’Institut flamand pour la biotechnologie à Zwijnaarde (cliquez pour agrandir l’image)
(NL) Momenteel bestaat er slechts één GMO veld in Belgie. Het gaat om genetisch gemanipuleerde populieren die in Zwijnaarde, nabij Gent, aan de achterzijde van het Vlaams Instituut voor Biotechnologie (VIB) zijn aangeplant (klik op de foto om te vergroten).

2011 Potato’s … until 2012

(EN) Recently, a second field was approved, this time for two kinds of gmo potatoes, in Wetteren. Beneath you find a picture of the two fields in Wetteren that are planned to have the gmo-potatoes on.
(FR) Prochainement, deux champs seront mis en culture, cette fois pour deux sortes de pommes de terre génétiquement modifiées, à Wetteren. Ci-dessous, une photo des deux champs de Wetteren où seront implantées les patates OGM.
(NL) Een tweede proefaanvraag werd recent goedgekeurd. Het gaat hier om het in open veld testen  van twee soorten genetisch gemodificeerde aardappelen Wetteren. Hieronder, een foto van de twee proefvelden te Wetteren.
